[REVIEW] Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Where do I begin with this game, other than giving a resounding fanboy AWESOMEEE!

Alright, review over, you know what the rest is about – no need to read further.

But for those of you who came here for actual content about what this game has to offer, venture on!

This game – left me breathless.

It’s really more of a movie than a game, I will give it that. Naughty Dog took everything they learned from The Last of Us, and put it into Uncharted 4 – without remorse.

I’m talking no holds barred, one of the best story games I’ve played in the last year.

There’s alot of closure that happens when playing this game. The gaps that were left open, the things that we we’rent sure about are answered.

The acting is top notch, you fall in love with the characters…. speaking of Love:

This game has more feels than a Drake album (see what I did there) – the relationship with Elana is some of the best chemistry I’ve ever seen in a video game.

You feel a sense of fulfillment, like your life is complete when this game is over.

The story takes everything you loved from every uncharted and reminds you every minute of why you love uncharted with little subtle nods to the previous titles!

The developers went above and beyond for this title.

Since I can’t really give any spoilers, I’m gonna stop here talking about the single player. It’s worth playing for anyone

But make sure you play the first 3 games first — or you will be sorry.

Now let’s talk about the multiplayer

The multiplayer is unique – and cool – but quirky. But it’s awesome – and worth playing.

I kept coming back for more!

It combines features from Gears of War, the Division, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and Call of Duty and meshes them with very familiar Uncharted 4 third person shooter style gameplay.

One cool part is you can actually be revived when you’re downed.

You use money that you earn to buy upgrades during the match to better defeat the other team.

It has a Gears style third person gameplay.

The cover system is awesome.

It really is something fresh and new and I’m glad they included it. I wasn’t very optimistic about it to begin with but after playing round after round and having a smile on my face I’m glad I did.

Overall this game gets a 10/10 (are you surprised).

It’s everything I hoped it would be and more.

The perfect uncharted experience

Graphics are some of the best I’ve seen on the PS4

Quirky multiplayer – but still fun.
