Microsoft Announces New System Code Named Project Scorpio

At the Microsoft E3 conference Microsoft waited to reveal their biggest project at the end, it was Project Scorpio!

The new system has a Holiday Season 2017 release but no exact date has been set as of yet.  They announced that the system will have 6 teraflops of GPU power and will run at 60Hz and will have full 4K resolution.

Project Scorpio will also be VR compatible, no known VR is named but it’s heavily rumored that the Oculus Rift will be the partnered VR.

Bethesda also announced that Fallout 4 will work with the Oculus Rift, if this is so then look for it to make a big impact for both companies.

Opinions vary when it comes to the newest announcements made by Microsoft today. One opinion that seems to be the same is the fact that everyone is thrilled Microsoft upped the graphics on Gears of War 4.

While many are disappointed in the new Xbox One S, due to it not coming with a controller, or so we think, I am excited for it to get rid of the horrible power brick.

As many were losing interest in the E3 conference for Microsoft, they grabbed everyone’s attention when they mentioned the scorpion game coming out.

We all know they’ll sell large quantities of this game.

Stay tuned for more information as it comes in.

What are your opinions on the E3 conference for Microsoft?

What will Sony/PS4 counter with their announcement tonight and will the PS4 NEO be able to compete with Project Scorpio?
